I want to take this time to reach out to my Amici and “Nemici” and wish everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving for those who celebrate. This year it may look different and it may be a difficult time for some. It isn’t always easy and I find myself not always in the spirit of things. It could be from stress, sadness, or just feeling out of touch. I say this today because due to some Covid like symptoms, I will miss out on spending time with my family.

So, why am I telling you this? I’m telling you this because in spite of those feelings, there are always people around you who love and care for you. It is okay to sometimes feel unhappy or disconnected. You own your feelings whatever they are. There isn’t a set rule to what we feel or when we should feel it.

During this time if you find that your feelings do not connect with the spirit around you and that bothers you, take this as an opportunity for self-care. Do something to make yourself feel a little better. It could be talking to a trusted friend or family member, mindful meditation or prayer, walking, arts & crafts, exercise, or like what I’m doing right now and playing a relaxing video game. Try and find a way to relax and have a laugh. Do something for you and remember that you are okay and loved by so many.

I wish you all a safe and relaxing holiday and weekend! Remember you are loved and cared for.

From someone who cares,

Included are some silly codes to laugh and have fun with. Not to be taken seriously. Go have fun, have a laugh, and remember you are cared for!
